The really nice thing about having a garden window above the sink is that whilst washing up one can spot a breakfasting Wren, the first time I’ve seen one in the garden this year I think.

Your garden window sill must have a camera on it at all times. Wrens don't hang around for long.

Well, there's always a camera only a minute or so away from me Josh but, unusually for a Wren, this one actually spent quite a long time on the patio searching for things to eat….there must be a shortage I suppose.
Wonderful! I only see them now and again sadly.
I wonder what the next move is … without dropping it? He's still holding on to it and I've been watching for quite some time. Birds are very patient. What a wonderful photo. I'll be back to see how the meal is going down 😉
