Tadah!
Not really a sign of spring on the way, still a lorra, lorra coldness to come I think. I’m back to remind all that this weekend is the time for the RSPB’s annual Garden Birdwatch. I’d guess that we’ve seen an increase in numbers from last year on several species but we shall see what the actual results show, won’t we?
Really Cool photo ~ It looks like a hawaiian lei
I must be hungry, I think they look like strings of popcorn.
Thanks for the reminder, and yes, I'd say my numbers will be about 50% up on last year. (100% for woodpeckers)
Hey – welcome back!
We've missed yoooou
The glow of sulphur yellow catkins in a gloomy lane, gives hope on the darkest day. Very cold here.
Good to see you back with such a terrific picture. Have fun doing the Birdwatch!
Love the catkins! so happy that you are back.
I think it looks like the one on the left has its hand on the shoulder of the one on the right.
Dancing sulphur-yellow popcorn string and lei….
Thanks all, both for the welcome back and the wonderful imagery of what you see with these catkins. 😀
