
The last time I showed you a photo from the Heronry at the reservoirs eight weeks ago, prospective parents were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the stork. Most of the nests are now empty again but there are still a few stragglers demanding food from their parents. Soon, presumably these three too will be terrorising the local fish ponds.

We are fortunate enough to have a few fish to spare, I always find it a treat to watch them from my office window…
They have that "teenagers searching for trouble" look in their eyes.
